Behavior Consultation:

• Behavior Consult: $450 flat rate (2 to 3 hours). Post-consultation telephone and email support are included at no additional charge. There is no additional charge for multiple-pet homes.


• Behavior Consult Follow-Up session: $175 flat rate (1 to 1.5 hours)


• Behavior Consult plus three Follow-Up sessions: $875 flat rate (Save $100)

For appointments outside of our immediate neighborhood there may be an additional charge for travel time to your home or facility.

A discounted fee is available for consult services with dogs obtained from a rescue or animal shelter with proof of adoption!

New Puppy Consultation (Puppy ABCs / Puppy Head Start):

New Baby Consultation (Bringing Home Baby):

Stay & Train (Board & Train / Puppy Boot Camp):  For busy families who may not have time to take their puppy to group training classes and also want more intensive training than offered in group classes. Your puppy will be boarded and trained in a home environment, not a kennel. The Stay & Train program lays the foundation for general obedience skills and prevention of nuisance behaviors (such as jumping up, leash manners, etc.) - it is not for adolescent or adult dogs with problem behaviors or aggression issues.

• Stay & Train Program: $3,800. Includes a Puppy Preparation phone consultation that covers everything you need to know to prepare for your new puppy's arrival, two weeks of training in Blue Dog's home, a New Puppy and Skills Transfer appointment with the entire family, and a Skills Transfer video (featuring your own dog) that reviews everything your dog learned here at Blue Dog!


• Custom Stay & Train programs and Assistance / Service Dog Training programs are available. Please inquire for pricing and additional details.

Studies show that Stay & Train services are significantly more effective when done in a home environment because the skills must transfer to a home environment. Blue Dog works with only one Stay & Train client at a time so your dog is given 100% of our attention in working on the skills you want improved!

Skills Training:

Training sessions are for teaching basic obedience skills in situations where no identifiable behavior problems exist.

• Single 1-hour session: $140
• Package of three 1-hour sessions: $380 (Save $40)

Training packages are prepaid, non-refundable, and non-transferable. If you need more sessions, custom packages are available.

For appointments outside of our immediate neighborhood there may be an additional charge for travel time to your home or facility.

Pet Selection Services / Choosing the right dog for your family:

• Custom packages available to fit your individual needs.

In-Home Pet Sitting:  A bonded and insured Blue Dog representative with background in training and behavior will stay in your home with your pets. This can include dog park visits (provided your dog is licensed), care for other pets such as cats, fish, etc. and training work with your dog customized to your needs.

• $80 per day

There is no additional charge for multiple pets. Stays longer than 14 days are contracted on an individual basis.

Expert Witness Services (Criminal and Civil Cases):

• Case work: $325 per hour, plus travel and expenses, if any
• Trial work and depositions: $500 per hour, plus travel and expenses
• Travel: $175 per hour
• Retainer: $1,500

Sarah Kalnajs has been accepted as an expert witness at trial in the State of Wisconsin. CV available upon request.

Behavior Assessments for shelters, rescue groups, and individuals:

• $250 per dog for a 1-hour session that includes a behavior assessment, written evaluation, and video copy of the assessment.

Seminars:

• In-person events: $500 per speaking hour, maximum of 6 speaking hours per day
• In-person one-day seminars (6 speaking hours): $3,000 plus travel and lodging
• In-person two-day seminars (12 speaking hours): $5,000 plus travel and lodging
