Total fee will include an additional charge of $20.00 plus $.50 per mile, round-trip, starting from the capitol square in downtown Madison. For locations greater than 30 miles from the capitol square the total fee will include a travel-time charge of $95.00 per hour, round-trip, instead of the mileage charge.

A discounted fee is available for consult services with dogs obtained from a rescue or animal shelter with proof of adoption!

 

In-Home Training:

• Single one-hour session: $70.00
• Single one-hour session + Dog Fundamentals session: $210.00***
• Package of three one-hour sessions: $195.00
• Package of six one-hour sessions: $330.00

Training packages are prepaid, non-refundable, and non-transferable.  

*** Blue Dog strongly recommends this combination of services for individuals new to dog ownership - it gives you a solid foundation for training along with one session to work on specific goals that you have. The Dog Fundamentals session can also be added to other multi-session training packages at a discounted rate.

Puppy ABCs (Puppy Head Start):

Board & Train:  For busy families who may not have time to attend group training classes or who want more intensive training, your dog will be boarded and trained in a home environment (vs. a kennel) for one to three weeks. Board & Train services are meant for general obedience and elimination of nuisance behaviors (such as jumping up, leash manners, etc.), not for work with aggression issues.

• $650.00 per week (minimum of one-week stay) includes a skills transfer appointment with family members and a training maintenance DVD (featuring your own dog) that reviews their progress here at Blue Dog!

Studies show that Board & Train services are significantly more effective when done in a home environment because the skills must transfer to a home environment. Blue Dog works with only one Board & Train client at a time so your dog is given 100% of our attention in working on the skills you want improved!

In-Home Pet Sitting:  A bonded and insured Blue Dog representative with background in training and behavior will stay in your home with your pets. This can include dog park visits (provided your dog is licensed), care for other pets such as cats, fish, etc. and training work with your dog customized to your needs.

• $60.00 per day for 1 to 5 days
• $55.00 per day for 6 to 14 days

There is no additional charge for multiple pets. Stays longer than 14 days are contracted on an individual basis.

 

Pet Exercise:  Blue Dog offers pet exercise in the Madison area. For individuals outside the Madison area, special arrangements can be made pending availability.

• $19.00 per 30 minute visit in the Madison area, up to three visits per day.
  Visit is customized to you and your pets' needs.
  Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations.
  

There is no additional charge for multiple pets.
